Urgent care centers provide treatment when you have an injury or illness that requires immediate care, but it is not serious enough to go to the emergency room. You should go to an urgent care center, if your doctor is not available.
Urgent care centers provide care for the following:
They are open after regular doctor office hours. Walk-ins are welcome, but wait times may vary.
To find an urgent care center near you, click on the “Find an Urgent Care Center” box above.
Emergency rooms provide immediate treatment of life-threatening conditions. If you have severe symptoms or believe your condition is life threatening, you should go to the emergency room or call 9-1-1.
Emergency rooms are open 24/7; however, wait times may be longer because patients with life-threatening emergencies will be treated first.
